Initially joined Keiro Northwest as Seattle Keiro Administrator in 1999 and returned in March 2010. He most recently worked for Lilly USA in State Government Affairs and has also worked for the Seattle-King County Private Industry Council, Center for Career Alternatives and the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority. He has served and volunteered on numerous community boards and organizations including currently with the Seattle Chapter Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), national JACL and the NW Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans.
Jeffrey is a graduate of the University of Washington and proud parent of Derrik, Serii, Ryoji, Chisako, Kiyomi, and Sakae.
Joined Keiro Northwest in 2014. Janice spent the previous 17 years as Executive Director at Denise Louie Education Center. She served as president of the Washington State Association of Head Start and ECEAP, a membership organization representing 72 programs and over 20,000 low-income children and families in Washington, a board member and chapter president of Seattle JACL (Japanese American Citizens League).
Janice received her Masters in Education from Seattle University and Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Washington. She is an avid runner and has completed numerous half marathons. She is a Seattle native and a parent of two teenage children.
Human Resources Director/Chief Compliance Officer
Joined Keiro Northwest in March 2010. Rick has over 35 years of experience in the field of human resources. He has worked in the HR departments of Seattle-First National Bank (now Bank of America), Washington Mutual Savings Bank, the Boeing Company, the Seattle Public Schools and the Seattle-King County Public Health Department. Rick was born and raised in Seattle and is a graduate of Garfield High School and the University of Washington. Rick served in the US Air Force 1971-1977.
He is happily married and has two sons in college. Rick is a lifetime member of the Nisei Veterans Committee (NVC) who has volunteered to help out at numerous NVC sponsored community events over the past several years.
Randi Saeter, MBA, RD
Joined Seattle Keiro and Keiro Northwest in August of 2010. Randi has over 14 years of experience in the field of dietetics and long-term care. She worked as a foodservice manager and registered dietitian before becoming a licensed nursing home administrator in 2007. “I have worked with people of all ages; from pregnant teens to pre-mature babies, but I am always drawn back to the elderly population of many ethnic backgrounds. That’s where my passion is and what I find the most rewarding!”
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition in 1995 and her MBA in 2005.
Randi was born and raised in Norway and came to the U.S. in 1991. She has two daughters and one son.
Jessica S. Giron, RN
Keiro Director of Nursing Services
Joined Keiro Northwest in 2008 as a Resident Care Manager for Seattle Keiro (SK) and named the Interim Director of Nursing Services for SK in 2011. Became Seattle Keiro’s Director of Nursing Services in 2012. She has had experience in the field of nursing since 2004. Started working as a Nursing Assistant Certified at Northwest Hospital where she developed her skills and knowledge in the neuro/ortho/oncology and surgical unit. She first entered skilled nursing care in 2006 working at Crista Nursing Center as a primary nurse and later as a charge nurse specializing in the Medicare unit. She has also worked in China with a medical group providing post surgical care following orthopedic surgeries. She graduated from North Seattle Community College – Licensed Practical Nursing Program in 2006 and completed her Registered Nursing Program through Excelsior College in 2010.
Jessica was born and raised in Seattle and a graduate of Shorecrest High School. She loves to travel (when time permits) and enjoys hot yoga, snowboarding and spending time with her family and two pugs.
Manager, Nikkei Manor
Joined Keiro Northwest in May 2009. Former Assistant Administrator of Auburn Meadows since 2007. Business Office Director (2002-2003), Assistant Executive Director (2003 – 2005), and Executive Director (2005 – 2007) of Evergreen Lodge an Emeritus assisted living community. Director (1991-1995, 2000 – 2002), Field Coordinator (1995-1998), and Bookkeeper (1998-2000) for Champions Before- and After-School Program for school-age children. Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from The Evergreen State College.
